Australis Capital beefs up management team with new VP of investor relations and strategy position

Brent Reuter, who most recently served as principal investor relations at Onex Corp, will fill the role

Australis, spun off from Aurora Cannabis in September, invests primarily in the US cannabis sector

() (OTCMKTS:AUSAF), the cannabis investing company, is bringing on its first senior vice president of investor relations and strategy.

Brent Reuter will step into the newly minted position. He most recently served as Principal Investor Relations for the private equity firm Corp.

Before that, he was vice president of asset management at the Canadian big bank CIBC and managing director at RBC Investor & Treasury Services in London and Hong Kong.

"I've been following Brent's career for almost two decades and his addition to our executive leadership, based in Toronto, will pay immediate dividends as he fosters strategic partner and investor relationships across North America."

Australis, spun off from (NYSE:ACB) in September, invests primarily in the US cannabis sector. Its stock slipped nearly 3% to C$1.02 on the CSE and 1% to US$0.76 on OTC markets.
