() (OTCMKTS:AUSAF) is partnering with a global marketing firm to consolidate design and brand strategy for the cannabis company’s house of brands.

The Las Vegas-based company said in a release Wednesday that it will work with ASTOUND GROUP, a full service fabrication and creative agency, on a new commercialization and merchandising strategy for Australis’ brands and to introduce new products.

A spinout of Aurora Cannabis, Australis’ portfolio includes brands such as Mr Natural, Tsunami, Provisions, GT Flowers and COIL.

"ASTOUND's portfolio of customers includes the most innovative and popular brands in the world,” said Scott Dowty, CEO of Australis in a statement, hailing the agency’s marketing brain trust and massive Las Vegas facility as key factors in helping to consolidate Australis’ branding requirements.

ASTOUND will also participate in the design and branding of Australis Elements, a 300,000 square foot production and cultivation facility under construction in Las Vegas. The facility will be equipped with up-to-date cultivation and cannabis extraction equipment and have an estimated flower capacity of 42,000 lbs annually.

The new facility will be designed and built to the standards of the Aurora Cannabis Sky facility, an 800,000 square foot high-tech greenhouse operation in Alberta.

"Our team at ASTOUND is proud to have been chosen to support Australis as they have proven to be a thought leader and innovator within the cannabis space," said Dale Morgan, CEO, of ASTOUND.

The branding company has offices in Las Vegas and Toronto.

Spinout from Aurora Cannabis

Australis was spun off from cannabis behemoth Aurora in September 2018 to invest in US cannabis assets. The firm's aim is to establish a foothold in the US, before any potential US federal legalization shift.

The Nevada-headquartered firm has nine assets in the cannabis industry, four of which are wholly owned. This includes brands such as Body & Mind, Mr. Natural and Green Therapeutics.

In addition, the company has invested in cannabis tracking and loyalty app developer rthm Technologies and in Wagner Dimas, which holds a number of patents for industrial-scaled pre-roll machines.
