BevCanna launches new CBD-infused beverage line to hit shelves in October

Anarchist Mountain Beverages are expected to launch in Canada following the legalization of infused products in October 2019, with the first products on the shelves being sparkling THC-infused drinks

Enterprises Inc () hit an exciting milestone on Monday with the launch of its first cannabis-infused beverage product, Anarchist Mountain Beverages.

The new infused drink is the first step in the Vancouver-based beverages company’s plans to develop and manufacture CBD-infused beverages and consumer products for in-house brands and white label clients.

The full brand portfolio will encompass ready-to-drink beverages, shots and powdered drink mixes.

Anarchist Mountain Beverages was inspired by ’s bottling operations on Anarchist Mountain in British Columbia, the company said in a statement. Beverages will reflect the surroundings of the region’s interior, infused with provincially sourced cannabis and spring water from an onsite aquifer.

"Anarchist Mountain Beverages is a brand that speaks to the values held by the craft beer and cocktail consumer, a consumer who is now interested in exploring cannabis infused products,” said Don Chisholm, Head of Brand and Innovation at BevCanna.

"The concept originated from a desire to both leverage research-validated consumer trends, and to celebrate an iconic regional identity, authentic to our unique operation.”

Anarchist Mountain Beverages are expected to launch in Canada following the legalization of infused products in October 2019, with the first products on the shelves being sparkling THC-infused drinks.

BevCanna has a 100-acre outdoor cultivation site in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia and an onsite spring water aquifer. The company’s 40,000 square-foot, HACCP certified manufacturing facility has a current bottling capacity of up to 72 million bottles per shift and per annum.
