High Hampton Holdings Corp (CSE:HC, OTCMKTS:HHPHF) is filling out its executive team, welcoming a new chief executive officer and chief operations officer.

Gary C. Latham, a figure in the California cannabis community with 30 years of experience, will take on the role of CEO.

“I am excited to join High Hampton to build on that success, continue to expand our footprint across California, and integrate our subsidiaries to deliver strong economic results driven by high-quality products, along with nurturing relationships that can support advancements in therapeutic applications of cannabis,” said Latham in the company’s press release.

Director Christian Scovenna, who's served as interim CEO, welcomed Latham’s experience as the cannabis company moves through a transition period toward growth and profitability.

High Hampton’s board also appointed Tom Baird, a founding partner of Mojave Jane, as chief operations officer.

Baird, an engineer who has led product management from public and private companies, has been tasked with overseeing High Hampton’s subsidiaries with a focus on revenue generation.

“Finding synergies, establishing and optimizing production processes and scaling according to market demands are going to be the key near-term objectives to solidify our subsidiaries as viable contributors and create sustainable value for our shareholders,” said Baird.

High Hampton Holdings is a cannabis sector investment company focused on the California market. The company did not specify a start date for the pair.

Shares slipped nearly 9% to US$0.32 by Wednesday’s closing bell.
