Chemistree expects its Desert Hot Springs facility could produce about 50,000 pounds of dried-cannabis flower per year
Chemistree Technology Inc () (OTCQB:CHMJF) said Tuesday that its subsidiary CHM Desert LLC has won a conditional use permit from local authorities in Desert Hot Springs, California for its 9.55 acre property in the city’s cannabis cultivation-friendly zone.
The conditional use permit will give the green light for cultivation in Chemistree’s two greenhouse buildings in Desert Hot Springs as well as activities in an additional building set up for the processing, manufacturing and distribution of cannabis.

Chemistree expects its Desert Hot Springs facility could produce about 50,000 pounds of dried-cannabis flower per year. Once fully licensed and constructed, it will have the capacity to process, manufacture and distribute a range of cannabis-related products.
“I am really proud of our California team for getting this conditional use permit from concept to award in less than seven months,” said Karl Kottmeier, Chemistree’s president in a statement. “The City of Desert Hot Springs has proven to be a terrific partner, and we look forward to commencing site works as soon as the permitting process allows.”
