The sampling campaign follows a November 2019 agreement that saw EuroLife become the exclusive distributor of Champignon’s mushroom-derived products.

"EuroLife is proud to be the first in Eastern Canada, and among in the first companies nationwide, to showcase Champignon Brands' flagship Vitality Superteas," said Shawn Moniz, EuroLife’s CEO.

"The sampling campaign at the Spielhaus Boardgame Cafe comes in advance of our more extensive planned product roll-out in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK where EuroLife has been granted exclusive preferred distributor status. Our internal research tells us there is pent up demand for mushroom-derived teas and other products and we look forward to this pilot campaign and the eventual launch in Europe."

Industry analysts have estimated that the global mushroom market accounted for US$38 billion in 2017 and is forecasted to expand at a compound annual growth rate of nearly 8% from 2018 to 2026, according to data supplied by EuroLife.

The Toronto-based firm is a leading global markets cannabis brand.
