What the company does:
Inc () (OTCMKTS:CANVF) is a Vancouver-based startup seeking its fortune in the booming business of cannabis.
The company, formerly known as Cannvas MedTech, is beginning a new chapter as it applies its education and analytics platforms to a new line of business poised for aggressive global expansion.
The young company doesn’t grow or sell cannabis and related products. Instead, EuroLife provides ancillary services for the cannabis industry. It specializes in educating the public with its digital reference library about the iconic plant while harvesting the power of Big Data to paint a clear and accurate picture of cannabis consumption across Canada, the US and the world.
At the core of EuroLife’s business is its website, Cannvas.Me, one of five platforms the company has developed. There is also a German-language version.
The website provides online cannabis courses for free and offers the public the chance to read about cannabis’ medical applications in materials and white papers put out by physicians. Visitors can get marijuana product reviews and use a cannabis-strain matcher that determines which variety is suitable for a specific health ailment.
EuroLife also offers a platform called Cannvas Health that allows clinics, doctors, pharmacies, and insurance agents, as well as universities and schools, to use information and data on the Cannvas.Me website to educate and inform their particular audience’s understanding of cannabis and its potential to benefit their lives.
Another platform similar to Cannvas Health is Cannabis.Pet, which is obviously geared toward pet owners looking for information on medical cannabis to treat ailments in their cats and dogs.
EuroLife runs a platform that dovetails with Cannvas.Me called Cannvas Kiosk, which is a network of kiosks strategically located in high-traffic areas like malls, cannabis retailers, entertainment facilities, hotels and hospitals, among others. The content on each kiosk is powered by Cannvas.Me
The kiosks are powerful data-collection tools that also serve to convert casual cannabis consumers into steady customers.
As more individuals explore the Cannvas.me website, they provide data that feeds the analytical side of EuroLife’s business -- CannabisData.ai, which has the lofty goal of providing the equivalent of census data for the cannabis industry.
How is it doing:
Following the rebrand, EuroLife is strengthening its position in the pet and human consumables market as part of a global cannabis brand strategy.
At the end of July, the analytics company signed up for a share exchange deal with 1216165 BC Ltd, better known as True Focus International, to get the exclusive rights to market its suite of products. True Focus is best known for its popular, all-natural, patent-pending oral spray which works to blunt the effects of THC overconsumption.
The company settled on Medellin, Colombia as its South American headquarters, telling investors the region is “ripe for investment” with 600 million potential customers, and growing openness to legalizing cannabis.
According to research by Prohibition Partners, the Latin America cannabis industry is projected to grow to $12.7 billion by 2028, with medical cannabis commanding $8.5 billion of the market.
The company has launched a new EuroLifeBrands.com website to reflect shifts in its European and South American activities toward the CBD market. The anchor of its North American operations remains its Canada and US-focused digital cannabis education resources, Cannvas.Me and Cannvas.Pet.
