Toler will boost Helix’s data services and support the company’s activities linked to the capital markets
Inc (), the cannabis technology provider, said Monday that it is adding former New York Stock Exchange veteran Garvis Toler III to the company’s leadership team.
In a statement, the company said Toler, the former global head of capital markets at the New York Stock Exchange, has joined the company’s leadership team as president of data services. Toler will also support the company’s activities linked to the capital markets.
“Garvis’ extensive background in capital markets and data services will bring a highly valuable skill set to the Helix TCS’ executive team as we continue to pursue the best opportunities for Helix in new markets and examine our capital market options,” said Helix TCS CEO Zachary L Venegas in a statement.

Toler joined the NYSE's senior management team in 2015 to ensure a comprehensive focus on anticipating and serving the needs of issuers. As global head of capital markets, his role focused on supporting new listing acquisitions and liaising with investment banks, law firms, private equity, and venture capital firms to support capital market transactions.
“I’m very excited to be joining Helix TCS,” said Toler. “I’ve watched the firm execute its strategy over the years to become an industry leader, and I look forward to supporting its growth into new commercial and financial markets.”
Toler earlier served as the global head of sales and equity capital markets at . He also held senior leadership roles at MSCI Inc, (), RiskMetrics and independent research firm CFRA.
The Denver-based company has a suite of technology services and platforms that enables cannabis business owners and operators to better manage and mitigate risk.
