High Hampton Holdings Corp () has appointed board member Robert Allen as the cannabis company’s new chairman, it announced Wednesday.
Allen is an investor and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience advising public and private companies in capital markets. He currently provides strategic advisory services to boards and management on governance and policy matters.
He was a principal investor and participated in the startup and IPOs of three prior companies.

Allen was granted 500,000 options in pursuant with the company’s stock option plan, High Hampton said in a statement.
The Toronto-based company also announced that it had issued 500,000 options each to CEO Gary Latham, COO Tom Baird and board members Cam Birge and Dieter Macpherson.
The options are priced at $0.34 per share.
