The company will add a number of jobs sourced from the local community as production activities ramp up in southern Ontario

Cobourg mayor John Henderson congratulated FSD Pharma on its achievement and welcomed the opportunities they will be creating for the community.
“Today the town of Cobourg celebrates with the company, and we look forward to being a partner in its continued growth,” he said in a statement.
FSD’s wholly-owned subsidiary FV Pharma Inc was awarded a sales license by Health Canada earlier this week.
The cannabis company’s president and cofounder Zeeshan Saeed said in a statement that company has received incredible support from the local community that directly contributed to the successful license application.
“The sales license is the last step in our official entrance to the national cannabis market,” he said. “This allows us to accelerate investment in production, add jobs, and contribute to the local economy in a meaningful and responsible way.”
