TraceSafe is a self-quarantine monitoring system that consists of a bracelet or access card that has an embedded chip that can trace the wearer’s location. The product can track and manage people who are self-isolating in quarantine. Bracelets are currently in use in Hong Kong and are being piloted in Kuwait.

Vehicles Corp () said Monday that it has narrowed its search for a US assembly facility and engineering technical center to five potential states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee. The company is looking for a facility to employ as many as 250 people and help meet growing demand for its SOLO electric vehicles in the US. plans to visit potential sites this summer and make a final decision later this year, a process that kicked off last week with tours of possible locations in Arizona.

() has entered into a strategic partnership with GensKey Medical Technology Co Ltd to co-develop and commercialize rapid detection tests to help identify whether a patient has developed antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the COVID-19 disease. The two companies also will co-develop and commercialize a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based diagnostic test to detect a SARS-CoV-2 infection. In a statement Monday, Avalon said both detection tests have already earned CE certification for the European Union and are currently up for pending approval by the US Food and Drug Administration under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) pathway. Avalon also said it intends to pursue the establishment of a cGMP facility in the US for the manufacturing and assembly of the detection systems.

() announced Monday that it has begun fulfilling an order of 2,300 electric taxis in the city of Guilin, located in China's Guanxi province. The first 200 taxis, worth roughly $2.8 million, are expected to be delivered in July. The initial wave of cars will consist of Dongfeng Nissan Sylphy ZE vehicles, a regional version of the Nissan Sentra midsize sedan. The order was secured by Ideanomics Mobile Energy Global (MEG) division, which has offices in China, through its partner QuianXi. The order was originally announced in November.

(), an advanced extraction and battery recycling technology company, announced Monday that it has hired Vickey Alvarez as the company’s corporate controller. She will have oversight and responsibility for full-cycle accounting for the corporation. In addition to all aspects of financials, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and all business transactions, she will also manage American Battery Metals’ sales and purchasing.  Alvarez comes to American Battery Metals from the Nevada State Board of Nursing (NSBN) where she managed budget, forecasts, cash management, audits, general ledger accounting, and payroll.

Corp () (OTCPINK:PEMTF) has struck a binding deal to buy eCommerce platform Unified Funding for US$45 million, which will allow Mota to develop new products and expand into new healthcare markets. Unified Funding generates revenue from licensing, marketing and product fees supporting brands in the natural health sector, including skincare, nutraceutical, essential oils and CBD. Its database has already facilitated over C$364 million in customer transactions since its inception in 2015, with C$93.8 million in 2019 alone.

Loop Insights Inc () received a major boost on Monday with its acceptance into the Amazon Web Services Partner Network. The elite group is used by the vast majority of Fortune 100 companies and provides access to numerous ongoing Amazon Web Services (AWS) portfolios. As a preferred partner, Loop told shareholders, it will benefit from larger funding opportunities and continued AWS resources that support product development, marketing and sales.

() (OTCMKTS:OQMGF) revealed Monday that crews are being mobilized for the resumption of drilling on its East Cadillac property situated in Val D’Or, Quebec. In a statement, the Candian mine development company said this is the second rig mobilized following the announcement of an expanded drill program from 50,000 to 150,000 metres. The first drill rig is currently on the Alpha property targeting the Orenada #4 zone at depth. The second drill rig will focus on the North Contact on the East Cadillac property, said the company.

Ltd () () has announced that it is in the final stages of launching its PrivaTalk Messenger, which is slated for next month. PrivaTalk Messenger is the company’s Swiss-hosted encrypted and private instant messaging application for web and mobile devices. In a statement, GlobeX said it decided to fast track the launch of PrivaTalk Messenger for everyone to purchase given recent data breaches in messaging apps, notably WhatsApp, and the need for more secure and private messaging and secure communication solutions.  Until recently, the service was only available to its large distributors and government clients.

Champignon Brands Inc () (OTCQB:SHRMF), a wellness company focused on areas of psychedelic medicine, said Monday that it has selected Toronto-based Dalriada Drug Discovery Inc to advance its new chemical entity (NCE) IP portfolio as it applies to ketamine and psilocybin/psilicin molecular scaffolds. Vancouver-based Champignon said Dalriada, a top contract research organization (CRO), will lead Champignon’s new drug discovery programs in the NCE area and provide “integrated R&D support” to accelerate the company’s existing preclinical assets and ongoing development of proprietary delivery platforms. The company expects the partnership to result in a "robust pipeline of preclinical and clinical assets" with strong IP protection.

Ltd () (OTCQX:GTBAF) has reported new drill results from the LP Fault zone on the company’s Dixie project that included the highest-grade, widest interval to date. Results from the zone included 30.5 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 12.4 metres, including 103.6 g/t gold over 1.1 metres within a broader interval of 15.5 g/t gold over 25.2 metres. The Vancouver-based company is in the midst of a fully funded C$21 million exploration program at Dixie, which is located in the prolific mining region of Red Lake, Ontario. The company has completed 111 drill holes of a planned 300-hole program.

TIMIA Capital Corporation's () () has said it is on track to provide more loans this year to help tech companies grow than it did in 2019, despite the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Mind Medicine (MindMed) Inc (NEO:MMED) () said Monday it is collaborating on a Phase 2 clinical trial evaluating LSD for the treatment of cluster headaches at University Hospital Basel's Liechti Lab in Switzerland. The Phase 2 trial began recruiting patients in early January and has commenced treating patients with LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), the Reno-based company said in a statement. MindMed, a leading neuro-pharmaceutical company for psychedelic-inspired medicines, previously formed an ongoing research and development collaboration with the Liechti Lab -- the leading global clinical research laboratory for LSD -- to evaluate multiple therapeutic uses of psychedelics and next-gen psychedelic therapies. Dr Matthias Liechti is serving as principal investigator of the clinical trial. 

CytoDyn Inc () announced Monday that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has set July 10 as the potential date for when the company can expect news about when the biologics license application (BLA) review of its potential coronavirus (COVID-19) drug leronlimab will be completed. On July 10, the company could be issued what’s called a PDUFA (Prescription Drug User Fee Act) date, which represents the agency’s goal date for completing an application.  The FDA typically takes 10 months to review a BLA, the company said, but CytoDyn has filed for a Priority Review designation, which could cut that time to six months.
