Biome Grow Inc () (OTCMKTS:BIOIF) has been granted conditional approval by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority to sell cannabis in the province.
The cannabis will be supplied by the Toronto-based company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Highland Grow Inc, which already has cannabis on the market in Atlantic Canada.
Biome will supply its products to 36 licensed retailers in the province and sales will begin immediately.

“We are looking forward to bringing the same level of strong customer satisfaction we’ve experienced in Atlantic Canada to our customers in Saskatchewan,” CEO Khurram Malik said. “Our high quality, premium flower and pre-rolls have proven very popular with discerning consumers in Atlantic Canada and we’re excited to introduce our brands to cannabis connoisseurs in the Prairie Provinces.”
Biome owns five subsidiaries in Canada, including Highland Grow, The Back Home Medical Cannabis Corporation, Great Lakes Cannabis, Red Sands Craft Cannabis Co and Weed Virtual Retail Inc.
The cannabis conglomerate’s shares were flat at C$0.53 on the CSE and down 10% to US$0.35.
